Greetings and welcome to my summer newsletter!
Summer is the season of Fire and I was going to talk about strengthening fame and reputation because these relate to the Fire element. But as I was starting to write, my new videos on Feng Shui came out on Expert Village and I realized that what I really want to talk about is relationships and love! Love relates to the Fire element (passion) and relationships to Earth (nurturing), and the corresponding season is now—the end of summer and early fall. The sun is warm and gentle and the earth is producing fruit. Men and women care for each other and nurture each other. I know people who don't care about money, but I don't know anyone who doesn't want to love and be loved. To bring more love into their lives is the number one reason people hire me for residential consultations—wealth is number two.

My new videos will help you bring more love into your life by creating a space that reflects what you want. My client Jane wasn't in a relationship when she hired me but this is what she wanted and she believed Feng Shui could help. We recorded the video at her home in May, just a few weeks after she finished implementing my suggestions, and I am very happy to say that now (August) she is in a beautiful, loving and supportive relationship. She is totally in love and the happiest I've ever seen her! The place that I helped her create reflected what she really wanted in the relationship and this is what she's got! Magic? Not quite. The space was ready and while working on it, she got clarity on what she wanted. The message was clear and the universe responded.
Feng Shui Tips for the Bedroom
see the videos for more details
For strengthening your personal energy:
- The atmosphere created in the bedroom should be relaxing, soothing and supportive rather than busy, hectic and cluttered. Try to limit the amount of furniture, accessories, books, etc. This will help you get a better night's sleep and wake up more rested and energetic.
- The bed should be positioned in a way that gives the largest visibility of the room's entrance. However, be careful not to have your head towards the wall adjacent to a bathroom or a living room/office, with a lot of electronics on the other side.
- It is a good idea to limit the number of electronic devices in the bedroom. Things such as a TV, phone, computer, etc., do not contribute to good sleep and health.
For strengthening relationships:
-
A solid headboard contributes to a feeling of support in relationships. This is especially important for single people.
- It is a good idea to create a feeling of love to reflect your existing relationship or attract a new partner. Rather than pictures of kids and family, have a picture of you and your partner when you are happy and in love. Any art that depicts love and couple, ducks, cranes, horses, would do. You have to like it, of course.
- Adding some reds (not too much) and some pink colors will bring warmth and create an atmosphere of love and passion. If pink is too girlish for you, use orange, apricot or cranberry. Brighter reds represent passion and pinks are more gentle and romantic.
